Aplications
Energy Valve
Damper actuators are designed for use in a wide variety of HVAC damper applications. For active smoke control systems, Belimo introduced the proportional FSAF24-SR for stairwell, under-floor and other presurization applications. With our comprehensive torque range and the ability to direct mount on standard damper shafts or jackshafts, solutions are available for fire and smoke actuator dampers, control dampers, air handlers, economizer units, VAV terminal units, fan coil units, fan shutters and unit ventilators.
SMOKE CONTROL
Applications
The energy Valve is a two-way pressure independent valve using the Electronic Pressure Independent Valve (ePiv) plataform that measures the coil energy by using an embedded electromagnetic flow sensor, water supply and return temperature sensors. The energy Valve uses a Delta T Manager algorithm that monitors the coil performace and optimizes the available energy of the coil. The energy Valve has standart analog signal and feedback wiring and communicates data to the DDC system via BACnet MS/TP, BACnet and TCP/IP. The actuator stores all the coil performace data such as Delta T and energy usage. All the coil performace data, stored trends and control functions can be sent to and the BAS via the data network.

Pressure Independent Control Valves
Applications
Pressure independent vaves directly control the water flow required by the coil and are not affected by pressure fluctuations in the system. The valves are selected based on the GPM requirements of the coil and no Cv calculations are needed. By precisely controlling the flow ,the pressure independent valves eleminate the need for balancing valves, thus reducing the installation and balancing cost. By far, the biggest benefit for the owner comes in the form of energy savings by eliminating overflow thru the coil. Overflow wastes energy by over pumping and is the main cause of the low Delta T syndrome in chilled water systems.
Pressure independent valves can be used to regulate flow through air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil unit, unit ventilatiors and VAV re-heat coils.
Predictable flow throughout valve travel eliminates over-pumping and provides favorable energy saving.
6 Way Characterized Control Valves
The 6 way characterized control valve is ideal for chilled beams and radiant ceilings offering reduced wiring by using single actuator instead of two. It eliminates the need for a change over valve and enables the use of a single coil for heating and cooling.

Applications
Available with spring return or non-spring return actuators, ball valves offer the solution for aggressive applications. The high close-off capabilities with high quality stainless steel trim allow these valves to be used in low and medium pressure steam applications and applications that operate with a higher media temperature.
Zone Valves:

Appliccations
For high and commercial applications where higher close-off is required: fin tube casing, fan coils,radiant panels and duct coils. Zone valves control the flow of hot and chilled water through coils and heat exchangers.

Butterfly valve series are available in sizes from 2” to 24” which fulfills the requirement of commercial and institutional HVAC applications requiring zero percent leakage for 2-way and 3-way applications. Ductile iron body and lugged flanges comply with ASME/ANSI Class 125/150 standards and are completely assembled and tested - ready for installation. Typical applications include chiller and boiler isolation, cooling tower isolation, change-over systems, large air handler coil control and low flow bypass to maintain minimum flow to a chiller or boiler plant.
